TOLEDO, OHIO – April 27, 2023 – Greater Toledo Community Foundation accepted the gift of interest in a golf club from Bob Moore, co-owner of Bedford Hills Golf Club for nearly 30 years. Located at 6400 Jackman Road in Temperance, Michigan, through the years, the facility has been known as an outstanding business on league play and has provided a banquet area, club house, driving range, batting cages, open play and mini golf.

Greater Toledo Community Foundation closed the sale of the golf club on Friday, April 14, 2023 to Sal Tubeileh, owner of Uncle John’s Pancake House. Bob Moore’s gift of his interest in the golf club, when sold, was intended to be a gift to support the community. “Creating a charitable gift through Greater Toledo Community Foundation to support our community has been a wonderful partnership,” stated Bob Moore.

“Greater Toledo Community Foundation is thankful for this gift, stated Keith Burwell, president of the Foundation.  “Bob’s philanthropic support of our community is another example of an individual who believes in the future of our community.”
